Volunteer

Like all conventions, Aetherica is built on the blood, sweat and tears of its tireless volunteers. While the committee will run itself ragged to make the event a success, we still need the help of as many bodies as we can muster to make sure everything runs according to plan (or a rough approximation thereof).

The following are just some of the ways you can help:

Programming

Consider yourself an expert on films? Read a particular book more times than entirely necessary? Interesting to listen to? Good at leading group activities? We need all kinds of people to provide an exciting and varied programme.

Gophers

These are generally helpful people who make a con work by running around getting things and/or people where they're supposed to be. No special skills or prior experience are required, and you can offer as much or as little time as you like.

Green Room

The main function of the Green Room is to give programme participants a place to convene before their programming item. The role of the Green Room staff is to make sure that the required people turn up (and recover them from the bar if they don't) and fix them up with drinks.
